My research focuses on advancing translational oncology through human iPSC-derived
sensory neuron models. As an iPSC specialist, I generate and characterize iPSC derived
sensory neurons to investigate perineural invasion (PNI) and dissect the complex
crosstalk between the peripheral nervous system and pancreatic cancer. My work aims to
elucidate the mechanisms underlying tumor-nerve interactions and translate these
insights into innovative therapeutic strategies that target the neural component of cancer
progression.
